yourself in imaginary

caught by black and white photography

Or,

desperate dawn
with her christmas eve blue bulge rings
around the universe of the ceiling.
the cableknit rivulet cabals
lean over the stair walls
smoking while spiders cross their foreheads.
on the surface where the copper pipes roll
beneath furniture in the middle of the emotion.

but why always this wingspan for the conquistador?
.
why always this silkscreen to incite me?
letting go of the lens is no easy snowman
in arenas with the colas drank dark.

alphabet embrace
going thermal at 60 miles per hour with soft upholstered bones:
stealth helicopters
impale on post office flag pole (flapping tar und feather swords
and pretend a goodbye to the words.
i huddle beside the insides
of storefronts.
wet debris exhales worlds in the headlamps
of Volkswagens parked like the teeth of a comb.
in this anticipation,
flowers ungodly loud
flicker a little
and smell of earth
literally palpitating umbrellas.

errant love, return

with a heartbeat fresh and canned,

with this fools impertinence
and swimming pools.

stealth choppers
drag titanic garments over cast iron mannequins
passing mall security
and pretend a goodbye to written words.

huddled against the insides

the stairwell exhales into the northeast winds
worlds in the headlamps
volkswagens parked like the teeth of a comb

Hi,
I guess I'm getting old or I'm just not 'with-it' any more (been a LONG time since 'Woodstock' which I guess was a different type of free thinking. I just don't get this because other then a good example of 'aphasia' also kown as 'dysphasia' which is a brain disease which is usually associated with a stroke and/or serious head injury resulting in brain damage. The patient knows what an object is or knows what he wants to say however, it gets scrambled & the patient will use a different word than the word they WANTED to say. The symptoms can vary a bit, doctors believe symptons very depending on the location and degree of damage in the patients brain, for example: when you ask the patient to identify an object but the patient is unable to say the name but is able to describe what the item does for example: the patient may want to say 'hat' but is unable to say the word however, the patient can describe what the item is or what the item does so they will say 'the thing you wear on your head'. Please understand I'm being totally honest when I say I just don't get it. Why is viewed as a poem rather than what it really is......random word association.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on what I read here even though I don't understand it at all, maybe someone out there could explain it? There are certainly way more things in this life which I don't understand compared to the things I do understand.
Blessed Be,
Meg

Just me again,
I forgot to mention a very good example of what I'm trying to say but am not sure if it is making any sense: If you can find a copy of the Don McLean song titled: "The Amazon" or some say it's "On the Amazon". If you can't find the song you should almost certainly get a copy of the lyrics from any of the 100's of sites which pring song lyrics.
