Poem Number 705
large how you smoke chico

Commentary:
words crystallize.

a tiny rainbow stain bends
and then removes
from the eye.

turning to an angle

the movements underneath
seem in the moments
yet to happen from the outskirts of sight
returned
a spiral
a laughter lifting thin partitions
counter clockwise
inside the gyre spoken
returned
into the instant
through the lie of distance.
another destiny..
another destination,
detonating time.

balance or ballast
tennis ball taste test
bent in half as a mastodon
gale over mast
masked matador laughing at Brokaw broadcasting in tongues
tipped on their axis,
the enema ebbs ionic pentameter backwards.
until 70b.c.,
entertaining the wrinkles along the angles of the twine
the dunes of the same sail
swim the armorall currents crawl camouflage
call for the fit of the stewardess whisp,
whisper reverb..
sparrow throat
turned up to collar coat thumbnail forgets
in the high definition fishing nets.
microwave hammock stones tapped
for their blindness kaleidoscope
glow joan of arc blue elastics
last step through the stain
glass mad
mortal incandescent design.
photons tongue in the tapestries
wake and whine
as fingerprints spent in limestone
diamond tinsel an ammonia
of the polar lights
boom plumage.

6:15 am, over the ghostrails of the market st L, she dines on stolen gasohol
chlorine seams
dwarf ellipticals in Cassiopeia
and speaks of how a child
will bend light into a cone
to splash a candles beam through the evening wall.
spokes of dust will be,
between the blinds of slumbering
bedroom spaces..
motes of an unknown still photography
rendering mere the aftermath
the path where beauty
bent
melting dear Galileo’s eternal lens
.
