Poem Number 1077
a little butterfly flitting in the wind, on wings of dancing sunshine , a glimmer in the
morning mist, i watched from afar , bewildered by this wonder , wondered how and wondered where it
learned to render,
a heart as heavy and sad as mine so happy and joyful as ever.
mesmerized by this ballet of nature
my captive eyes earnestly followed , i followed it round and round about till it came to rest on a flower, i said to myself,,"" how can this weightless life , be capable of
lifting me up to heavenly rapture,, when men of higher standing tried their best to raise their king from disaster???""
the answer came back to me ,, so strange yet clear as ever,
the lord works mysterious ways , which are miniscule yet divine, but man tries and peeps and pries
to prove them otherwise and wastes his life on vices like wealth and war and wine
