Poem Number 282
~~
Commentary:
I take each glance so personally,
so intimately mine.
a raised eyebrow, as in cue,
as i recite my line.
i blush so real and coy at once.
so abashed to hear
my words spoken so out right
and your response so clear.
~Sam

February sun leaves long shadows.
February rain lends river rainbows.
Find myself in the prismatic dream.
Lose myself in the gray between.
So pour crystallic wine into our vase.
Choke one more rose in burgandy cause.
Light this ancient match to consume its heat.
Be present when past and future meet.
Enveloped in a gauzy mist.
Bittersweet, to be dew drop kissed.
