Poem Number 266
Sounds like a song
Every note has a voice
Every tune has a story

Commentary:
Tell me about your future,
Tell me some lies,
Tell me everything is all right.
-------------------------------
Don't tell me all the reasons you cried,
On those lonesome nights.
I kills me inside,
When i can't make it alright.
----------------------------
I tell you you're beautiful,
I tell you you're smart,
Why can't you tell me you're heart?
----------------------------------
Let's leave this town,
Go far away,
It's a deathtrap,
It's poison,
Why stay?

Yea...I have a habit of looking at a poem from my own perspective, and when I can't, I try to look at it from someone else who is looking at me...and this made me think of the way a friend of mine feels about me...and it made me smile, though I realize the poem was not truly of a happy nature...I think it's a feeling a lot of people get...that they live in a nowhere town, leading nowhere lives...I feel that way a lot...~Lana E R

In the last stanza of your poem, are you talking about the town you came from??
