Poem Number 1960
In the stillness of the early morning
I awaken to a dreary day
to realize this assignment never worked out
But, in the silence of the night
I sleep knowing tomorrow is another day
And I have yet another chance - to get it right.
and put up a fight

I have set up poem 1960 for my seventh grade class to write one line at a time as a part of a poetry webquest. Thanks for your cooperation.
