anticipation of tomorrow is tugging at my heart
my eyes welled up with tears
my heart swollen with emotion
a single tear flows down my already salted cheek
the eyes in front of me looking deep into mine
the hand wiping away not only my tears, but all my worries
the warmth from the body so close to mine
a shower of absolute happiness washes over me
my fear slowly disappears
my heart now in the hands of another
anticipation of tomorrow is tugging at my heart
