Poem Number 1403
My Sweetest Boy
He would do anything for me
Whenever I hear his name
My heart skips a beat
I want to be with him forever
He is my eternal love.
Commentary:
I will wreck you.
The innocence that consumes you,
that which I love so much
will exist no longer when I am done with you
(in my head)
You have so much, inside of you
so much to give of yourself
Don't waste it- on me.
I will never be- her
I can't even compare or even begin
to reach the pedestal you have her on
And I will never be good enough for you,
through my eyes.
You really are my Sweetest Boy
you make me feel like a person
which I haven't been for awhile
You put me in touch with you and me
and the idea of me that I have planted in my head.
I want you to be selfish
realize what you are getting into
I want this to be better
I want endless time and understood insanity
between us
But you know-
I have heard,
"I am not the one"
and the more I think about it
the more I can convince myself
so now it is up to you.
