Poem Number 151
Ever Awake
---Galipot
Commentary:
This wolf can not lay himself down to sleep
He must howl from the sides of mountains
He must dash through the trees with abandon
That darkling wood where night and day still mix
.
Yet still there is time to pause for the soft sounds
Rains gently dripping from the leaves to the loam
Tears of clouds falling calling wanderers back
“Come to the warm places where you are safe”
-------
Nicely done.
