Poem Number 582
OL DO DA DAY
said the man in line for gas after he heard rationing starts today

Commentary:
Well I wanted to dance
there were fish upon the shore
well I wanted to dance
the trees were growing no more
well I wanted to dance
all the little puppies had died
Well I wanted to dance
WEll I wanted to dance
WEll I Wanted To Dance
insread I just cried
Will you join me in song
come on lets all sing along
money once in the bank
now its all gone
Pension was all in place
simply live out the years
So long simple life
I Got no time for tears
So lets all sing along
lets shout to the sky
You know when times are bad
you WON'T surely die.
Well I wanted to dance
I think that I will
.........
.....
ol do da day.
