Poem Number 563
Brandishing a pirate knife and mouth swollen full of candy corn
Jumbo Jim, smashed at the bowl of nearby displayed gumballs
Paying no mind to the crowd's distaste and steer-eyed scorn
he continued his jaunting and ravaging of the grocery store malls
But it was a shiney magazine with glossy pages he prized the most
He stuffed it in his cap and would review it down at the sea by the coast
...
Glazing the pages with his moistened eyes he scanned the zine
The spray of the coast moistens his pumpkin soft cheek bone skin
As his red-buttoned eyes make sure each advertisement is seen
Dancing in his head are thoughts and ideas of new toys and adventures
Secret spy gadgetries and disguised dangerousities to glean
