Poem Number 520
I pooed out some onions, the farmer spoke
Then I clicked my heels and lit a smoke
It's a fine thing to poo onions, I made my retort
But it's another thing to put it in your nose and snort
Especially when that onion is covered in poo
And you think that it was yesterdays beef stew
..
To which the farmer gave a chortle and a dance
Then taking a step forward and dropping his pants
Produced a wet groan and out came a mince pie
And quickly followed by a few dozen hungry fly
And in such astonishment, I gave a slap on my knee
Hollarin' to the farm family for all to come out and see
..
Now mince pie, I said, will be a hit Thanksgiving day
And everyone let out a cheer and hip-hip-hooray
Folks will come gather to see and you'll make a heap
And then you'll be able to go buy a 1/2 dozen more sheep
To which news the farmer errupted in spazmodic glee
And he ran off to the hills buzzing like a silly bee
Commentary:
gotta love that minced onion
