Poem Number 500
Large heavy jugs laden with milk
Stacked under and above for delivery
Lovingly padded with blankets of silk
Protected from the daily machinery
On its way to your mouth from farmery
The milk is much better than before
Please, take a pair of jugs I implore
.
My grandma needs an operation
And all the cows have been put away
Some are of my own relation
And sister's milk I have for you today
Her and I rolled in the hay
And there's too much milk to keep
You can give it to your sheep
.
