Poem Number 3403
Bastard Files

Commentary:
#2
...
Hearth is warm
She dreamed softly
Of her peace in life
...
The night was deep
The tree shading
The moon from the window
...
She drifted in and out
Reading her book
The wind tapped lightly
...
A small lonely light
Shone beside her
Illuminating only its space
...
Thick black leather
Stepped on the welcome mat
Stopping still at the door
...
The lock moved slowly
Turning releasing opening
Covered hands seized the door
...
The door shut softly
Unaware in the silence
She drifted in and out
...
The thick leather waits
On the bottom step
18 more to stride
...
Silence is the thief’s
Symphony living in only
The heart beat of his blood
...
Final approach was at hand
Into the waiting light
Again hands seized the door
...
He turned to the wall
Behind his wanting
And saw his reflection
...
Not in a mirror
But a photograph
Wrapped in gilded frame
...
He turned back to the door
And through it open
To the lighted space
...
She was startled and screamed
At the intruder
Reeling in the bed
...
He leaped to the bed
Coming to rest on her chest
Pushing her head back
...
He slit her throat
As the blood splashed
He was washed in pleasure
...

a chiller!

sounds pre meditated given he knew the number of steps to her chair. all the more creepy because some crackhead tried to pry the steel plate away from the door handle to this complex. the rotwieler and hand gun will take care of him :)
