Poem Number 104
EBONY
~
Her thick black hair hangs loosely by her side
She is tall and supple with skin of ebony
Graceful, untamed she runs wild and free
~
Stopping to catch a rainbow shard
Then chasing the wind across the hills
She darts and dances where'ere she wills
~
Perfectly balanced on the rocks by the sea
Halting again to hear the clouds speak her name
Waiting, she stretches and reaches up to taste the rain
~
Atop the craggy hillside, she recognises him
Sleek and black, her muscles tense at the breathtaking sight
Her breath catches, Her breast tight
