Poem Number 303
It's not ok to pretend I'm not here.
Everyday i live my life in complete fear.
Fear from getting in trouble,
God knows what happens then.
A slap across the face,
Another black eye again.
A story is what i tell so others will not know.
The huge question is if i should go.
Should i leave this place and never come back?
I'm all ready, i only need to pack.
Through all this pain i've lived with for so many years,
You'd think i'd quit crying, but i still shed secret tears.
I've learned it's ok and that i need to leave this place.
To move on quickly and leave without a trace.
Unfortunently i think about you each and every day.
And the end of my heart is where you will always stay.
The end is usually good, but in this case it's bad.
Knowing you will forget who i am, to me, that's quite sad.
All i ask is for you to remember one simple little thing
You'll be in my heart forever as absolutely nothing.

Commentary:
There are times that I feel this pain as you recited in your poem. Great job.

Thanks. We all have rough times and I think everyone deserves a chance at the good... I once got told that tears are the healing, not the hurt coming out. Never forget that!
