The End of Summer


Commentary:
Summer has slipped from our grasp again.
And summer's yellow has faded out,
With the goldenrod and the daisies
And the sound of the children's shout.
Now, autumn's haze is over the land,
And autumn's red is in the air,
With the Maple leaves and the apples,
And there's a tinge of saddness there.
