Poem Number 278
when you said it was over i couldnt say
that i didnt love you anyway
when you went abroad i couldnt leave
i wanted to stay and reflect and grieve
reminders of you existed in places
songs, tastes and strangers faces
when you came back it hurt some more
about contacting you, i was unsure
two years on and im upside down
i see you at uni, in pubs, around town
i miss you so much and we still havent spoken
one thing i'm sure of;
my heart is still broken
