Poem Number 277
to kiss the punished eyes of fate
to answer questions of peace & hate
to put one's wrath within a box
so love unfolding may propogate
--
i want to dance with fireflies
let myself get lost & mystified
and dream in silent membrane bliss
with all life's meanings beautified
--
love is the weathered stance i tow
with tin & silver & golden crows
and if you ponder thru & thru
these words, you'll find, reflected you
every angst and rumored martyr
lost gaze penetrates dark water
beyond the shadow through the gate
as wide as the iris in your eyes
and soft as an angel's whispered sighs
the rose that bleeds for me and you
counts the days for it's demise
upon the hiss of an abating sunset's hue
