Poem Number 249
She stroked his hair, she held her breath, she smelled his skin
the sort of love, she hoped she'd always, wallow in,
her beating heart, so vulnerable, so strong and loud,
and in his arms, she drifted high, upon their cloud.
And he look with lust in his eye, and knew he had to tell her why
why she had to walk away
Because it was another who took asked him to stay
So it was with her I pulled away, I told her the sun will shine for you; one day
And as she walked away, I could not help, but remember the childhood games we used to play
