Poem Number 244
as a poet may speak, poetry tends to sound sweet, to the listeners ear.
as a poet may see, eyes can roam, they are meant to be free
as a poet may taste, a million sensations, come to his mind
as a poet may love, his dreams no longer, remain confined.
as a poet may cry, his eyes become heavy, and his soul is becomes sore
but when a poet laughs, his heart grows stronger, than it was before
Commentary:
Sugar is sweet but not good to eat if you're diabetic, my dear.
