Poem Number 242
If I punch you in the face
because you don't have any taste
Would you just sit and cry...
and wonder who? or even why?
If I pray you'll go away
Would you promise me you'd stay
so far away that I would lose sight of your face
Don't make me Punch you in the face
I spit on you, called you a whore
Next day, I was at your door
i never meant to hurt
Would you forgive me if I flirt
With words too big for you to understand
Ohh how I miss holding your hand
I'm a fool for all of this
Because you fullfil my every wish
When I hit you I cry and cry
But you make, you lie and lie
If you would sit and listen to me
I would not have to hit thee

Can't speak for anyone else but the first two lines came from a crappy poem I wrote about a comment made towards me on another salon. I liked the first bit so I thought I'd toss it out and see what everyone else would make of it. The results are far better than the original! jennifer (je)
