Poem Number 344
Houses, Seen From a Bridge
How's his spleen been abridged?
Commentary:
The houses stretch their necks and try
to reach their heads, not to the sky,
but, only, to survey the bridge
to see what sort of men these are
who hurry, hurry by.
They find that it's beyond their sight,
they fail for insufficient hieght,
but, failling, they go not complain
but only stretch and try again...BR

No sky risers in your little town I take it?
Count your Blessings.
Appeal granted!
