Poem Number 979
Here is all I know, yet anywhere but here calls to me "come home"
Home is where I am, but out there somewhere,
is the place I know I could belong
should or would belong, if...I had... now what ever is the point of going there
Must these yearnings be so wrong
Need I "go" anywhere... out there... somewhere...to create
a collage all my own - a painted mural of colors - a portrait of hues
words upon paper spewing clues... of exactly whose...life it is within me
It is me! I cry Here I am, yet please do not notice me unnecessarily
I just wish to "be" and to give and share what makes me "me"
but only to enhance another life, way beyond the me, maybe you.
Yet even if not you, or someone, or never noone
I desire the hues, give a clue, to who...I am. And they do. For those who understand.
