Poem Number 968
Let’s Jam
Commentary:
I’ll play my wicked
sweet guitar while you lie down
in soft grass cool
if you will fret my base
instincts and play me
like a love struck fool
I’ll finger while you fret
a bit and fill
your strings with melody
if you will play your latest licks
caress the horn
inside of me
I’ll whisper lyrics
in your ear and sing
a haunting euphony
if you will stay a little while
and make some music
here with me
-------
Clever, I like it.

stinkle...a gem, a true delight. I love the fun as you play with language lyrically and contextually. This piece sparkles like water in the sunlight, enchants me like lovers giggling in the new grass. And I like it, too. Thank you! Jennifer (je)

why, thank you kindly
glad it brought a smile :)

Addendum:
If music soothes
the savage breast
then your heart beats the best of me
and with your air
and beauty fair
you troubadour me beastily
