Poem Number 1137
While messing about on the 'net
you popped out of the screen
to me the best person yet
the luggage behind you
and jasmin invading the room
the quiet candle working through
nebulous visions in a martini
prayers chalked above the bed
the connection remains uncanny
swirling in my head
your timid "hi" is most welcomed
as it pierces my firewall
If we danced would it be forever
If we sang would it be of love
What caverns dare we explore,
or crevices probe with tender tongue?
They've been all covered
with purple robes to be ignited
How is your heart?
Is it playing cards?

Commentary:
hmm. not sure that completely rhymes with martini, and I think I've screwed up the rhyme scheme. cheers anyway. --k
