Poem Number 1133
we loved you
from that special moment in time
the first time we held you
we gazed into your eyes
what a beautiful angel
God's gift to our world
time was so very prescious
but we didn't know
just three short years later
he would call you home
as we gaze at your bed
into the depths of sadness we go
wrapped in your favorite blanket
and your bob the builder hat
tears stream down our faces
and we wish we could go back
we didn't get to say good bye
not the way we wanted to
if we could tell you anything
it'd be that we love you
walking away robed in bitterness
I look upon the cold stone
i'll be waiting here forever in my heart
waiting for my angel to return home
