What I read

Not in the daily paper
Magazines
Radio stations
That act pristine

I read what I did
Out of sorrow’s face
That was never exposed
Out its destitute place

The slums were it reside
Never actually hides
Nowhere will you find pride
Because no one gets to see inside

As they walk by, head down
Hands out, that the way they work
As the Bald Eagle got shot
And the ignorant masses went berserk
