Poem Number 1628
Blonde bomber
everso somber
Why damp is the dynamite
Fearless, into the Light

Poem Number 1629
The Sun peaks into the Day
To scavenge a star or two from Night
lines her pockets with luminous dust
skips to the shadows of silent turning
repairs to the mocking bird's cry
and rests easy on the silhouette
of the once slumberous city

Poem Number 1630
a reason to write, a reason to sing
without pain, what are these things?, but hollow lies and memories
a truth to frame, a lie to believe
to make the future more necessary
A reason to think, a reason to give
Without generosity, how would we live?

Poem Number 1631
The eyes have stolen the truth, your soul awakens
Dispair embraces your every thought
Have you forsaken reality for redemption
Does time heal all wounds or simply mask them
They pretend healing and leave a shadow of pain in the scar

Poem Number 1632
The autumn leaves are falling on her grave
like gold and crimson teardrops from the sky
the live is wave after wave
I should never let her die!
I must accept that it's too late.

Poem Number 1634
I saw beauty today. ever conflicted I sit. my hands smell like freah cut potatoes. my free will escaping me is it enough to know what is real or do I need to become part of the outside
my instinct bites at my insides like fire ants of truth as I stagger forward into my mediocrity

Poem Number 1635
faded ...
booming from
deep within my awareness
... as i sit here ...
questioning ...
this so-called "existence"
... faded ...
keeps resonating ...
like a heartbeat ... in a panic
these pages ... these poetic hallways ...
have continued ... despite my empty seat ....
my absent voice ...
my yellowed-out pages, unmoved ..
untouched .... faded ....
i ...
only reminded ..... of ...
faraway memories ...
old hearts, new friends ...
battered soul, wishful future
a toast of success ...
a path ... i could call ....
my own
now ... those words ....
this so-called "existence"
deep within my awareness
.... faded ....

Commentary:
Each decision made has untold consequences
Whether good or bad, once the choice is made
it must play out to its entirity
Every choice will be different
a reward, a lesson, a heartache
But it also brings wisdom
to those open enough to see them.
We all must make our own decisions
even those with regrets are lessons
if you extract the evil from it
I do not preach, I do not judge
I merely exist as a wanderer
down the Route to all roads...............Classic38
