Poem Number 1601
Swooshing with a backward motion and running my empty minded mouth
Slides the glistening waters of the Nile along my snaking lips
Wet lips curled around the edges and frown pointing deep south
Slackening my thirst but adding unwanted girsth to my hips
The days beverages loosening my tongue for the mother visit
She'll come asking about reports of road conditions and such
While her doggie barks and runs in the deep snow like a midget
All the way here from the north wilds the Nile valley is far too much
