Poem Number 1528
A Soldier's Pride
Can not be stolen by death
But monkeys can steal his car
Unless he monkey proofs it before he dies
But if he's dead then it's not like he can USE the car
So the monkeys might as well have it
Well I'm glad that's all sorted then
BUt maybe the monkeys stoile his car before he went off to war?
Oh that would make the soldier MAD
That's probably how he died - the anger made him careless
F**cking monkeys

Commentary:
As I watch my flag fly with pride
A tiny voice turns on inside
This is your freedom, what you live for
This is you life, in peace or war
The American dream is what you make it
It's not handed to you, so go out and take it
What you breath, what you hear
In the Anthem there is no fear
Look around at what you see
Have faith in God and Old Glory
As i watch my flag soar in the sky
For these colors many have died
So I pledge alliegence to my flag
And thank God for this beautiful country he gave
I haven't seen anything so beautiful until this night
As i watch Old Glory soar until the morning light

****Thank you supporters of the armed forces deployed over the world,
~~~~~love and God bless, an American Soldier
Amen, I don't always agree with my goverment. However, I am thankful for the men and women who do what they are asked to do, often need to do, to keep us free.
