Poem Number 1524
The jello spot
Dripping dye
red dye # 40
and the gentle snort
of horse hoofs
lingers....
puttttutttttu puttttyutti
redhor
dead hor
Jack has struck again
he escarped on a motorbike
Or did he eat carp on a rotor mike?

Commentary:
It sat in a bowl
all nice and green.
Shimmered and sparkled
so fresh and clean.
The along comes some finger
so small and dainty
to mess with the stuff
green squishies
that go painty-painty.
All over the walls
all over the floors
first one swipe
then two,
the small artist hard at work
creating a picture or too.
It doesn't matter
that it doesn't stick.
It's pretty to look at
and tasty to lick.
Just as the master peice
is about to begin
in comes some help
by the name of rover o' gin.
With a wagging tail
and a doggie kind of grin
with out hesitation
he jumps right in.
Swishing and swashing
and loving it all
especially
the small child
in the middle of it all.

I know there are some errors here and there, and I don't think it's quite done.
Kind of like a cookie that gets pulled from the oven too soon.

Maybe a tad half-baked but cute nonetheless, and sweet. I've always loved raw cookie dough anyway. :)
