Poem Number 1519
Spring Madrigal

Commentary:
delighted sunlight springs through the trees,
robbed of their leaves by winter,
they move a picare against the breeze
while their roots tickle the shoots
easing through the frozen earth
singing:
"the rain grows soft
as the sun grows kind;
are you reay to dance again?"
