Poem Number 824
I can't say I find all this simplistic depressive poetry in any way attractive.
It is very boring. Perhaps therein lies the cure. If we are bored with ourself we can branch out and try happiness on for size like a new shoe :)
Maybe a beach thong with our toes free in the warm breeze...
Today folks call the "flip flops" but we called them thongs. Not to be confused with floss like strips of bikini cloth.
We could develop a foot fetish!! We could sell our shoes and sandals over the internet at great cost to buyers.
Becoming independently wealthy will bouy our spirits :) New horizons will beguillingly beckon....
Commentary:
*ahem* *yawn* *yawn* *yawn*
ol' Fido wants a chewtoy
not another bone
-------
as i travailed along the shore
with shiny flip flops on
i kicked a shell and then i swore
alas! i'd broke my thong
there rose the squawk of gaping gulls
and voyeurs all aghast
while little kids did drop their pails
and cling to mommies fast
but you boldly met my dauntless eye
and hurried to my aide
until the cops chased us away
interrupting our escapade
-------
LOL! Very good :)
