Poem Number 803
How can I be so foolish to fall in love with someone I never met
Fell to the mercy of his spoken words, exchanged dreams and hopes of what it can be
He will never know how much I longed to be held in his arms
Feel the warmth of his embrace, listen to our hearts beat as one
I guess my hopes and dreams are down the tube
I will go back into my quiet trance, living my days wondering what it could have been.
