Poem Number 945
Cascading pickles I present to thee
a hundred thousand or more for you stacked on my knee
You salt-bather corn-breather, be stricken and awed
10 dimes and a year at the earth i scratched and pawed
On my brow is bologna balanced for your eyes to glide on
One more time i give you the pickles and then i'll be gone
If you'd show the slightest of interest I'd throw in a boot
Look at that ! put them in a barrel and they are something to shoot
May I tempt you with a high-horse crossbred with a ham?
Throw it in a corset and fry it with grease from a lamb
But I know its the pickles a-piled that you want but won't say
Quickly throw me your thoughts and i shall soon be on my way
What's this? Do I see a glint of a hint in your eye that you'll buy?
Take one and take it all - come on there fella don't be shy !
There you go son! Dip in those hands and pull out that cash
And a billion pickles to you sir, off i go to another slapdash !
