Poem Number 944
May all traces of my existence be lost in the snow
The cold, crunchy steps make my thoughts sink so low
Let the flakes slowly tumbling from the sky bring my end
Stumbling against a hidden stump i hit my head a blunt blow
My pillow it shall be, peaceful dreams of red to let flow
The stems of my body contort this way and that way they bend
Do you see me dancing this most sacred dance friend?
Tip-toed and frolicking as my consciousness follows a trend
Sanguine droplets lend the snow the color I lacked in my life
Memories of a passing time fading that i can't seem to defend
It's all beauty and happiness now though as I'm on the mend
Things are going to change all around ! i'm nobodys housewife
A dignified meal for the crows, I'll keep them from strife
And if there is a starving Vagrant he can eat me with a jackknife
I should keep good and fresh for a while in this frigid mess
If a boulder came crashing on my corpse, i wouldn't care nor dislike
I'm nearly dead now... I'll pay nothing no mind. And that feels nice.
With my cudling gasp of air, i let it out slow and leave behind my failing success
