Poem Number 928
In this battle to survive
In this fight to stay alive
I lie down in the street
But I shall not admit defeat
For I shall rise to face the foe
When to my bewilderment along comes Defoe
"Dan'l," says I, "Engarde! For I will best ye."
And of your manhood I'll devest thee
