there's nothing wrong with having a best friend whose a girl. in fact its ggod that you dont fancy her: that will make thing s awkward. look mate, everyone feels like this at some point. the more desparate you feel about being unattractive the more unattractive you will become. its all about being positive. feel positive in side and that will make you positive outside. are you the 'funny' one. the great laf that has to stand back and watch the jocks get the girls, have negligible conversation/nothing in common etc? it will end. you will meet some one really nice, some one who will blow your socks off. and you know when you'll meet her? when you least expect it. look at it this way: would you like to go out with a girl who bases all her decisions about suitable boyfirend materials on looks alone? How ever nice she may seem, that has to be a bit of a character flaw?
