Poem Number 1188
With pine saw in hand and miraculous bend
Sheweljah belched with a lime breath of sour limes
Which to any fancier man or woman she'd lend
The hand for which she hold, the warts of old times
That made a course jagged line from calf to hip
Shifting shady and out of line with tattooes of filthy grime
She took the pine saw to the leg and let it rip
digging deeper and the beering on the docks for another trip
...
Weakened from first the pine saw got caught in the bone
Sheweljah cocked herself with a rock toss throwing it at the neighbors home
The projectile bounced back striking the girl in her placid jaw
Smacking her with a powerful ugly flaw
Then came the neighbor with a pitchfork and whiskey in hand
All Jack-mouthed and reddening with fists of a gunner
Told her to git like a shot up and off and yunder his land
With a bang and a shiver, the revolver spittled and shot off and ranned
