Poem Number 1166
Tender fragments of the by-gone
inescapable pieces of what we are,
memories like rain upon the sea
raising the ocean until we're drowning in past imageries
suffocated by the fog of history
it settles like sand onto the sea floor in the depths of your mind
next emotions toss and tumble me breathless
touching my bottles and licking my tenderless
