Poem Number 1145
A beautiful song
drips from gray lips
I look around but no one
hears this melody encased in vacant breath
Commentary:
I'm eating chips
but you are starving
I scribble my ideas for fun
But no one loves you
& you try to fall asleep
behind the dumptser again
I scribble in my pleasant studio
Afloat my false Ideals
While you moan with a pang
I can't understand
Maybe you are me
I'd like to invite you in
But, you are way too hungry
& I am not Jesus
Well, if you are me,
Then I must Be
But, I'll decieve myself again tonight
While you, suffering, decieve us both
-------
Didn't Symon write the first part of this a while back? Any whoo, a potent observation.
