Commentary:
Lonely, lovelorn poets sitting in the dark typing random thoughts through black keys as a conversation to some 'mystery lover'..silly lonely poets..your lover is waiting.
But NOT behind the computer screen.

Commentary:
DAVE
Dave works in the pharmacy all day long
Carefully filling the scripts, so not to get them wrong
Giving directions, and counseling to everyone
Working from morning until the long day is done
If you think this is his calling, you don’t understand
You see pharmacist Dave is a blues man
Evert night when the sun goes down
You can hear Dave and theBand start playing around
He plays the blues that makes you want to cry
Playing so sweet and sad you think you will die
I have heard blues down on the Delta Queen
Dave plays the blues and there jealous down in new or lens
When Dave plays the blues happy and sweet
You will catch yourself starting to tap your feet
He plays blues about sadness and strife
About boozes, cards and a wasted life
So when you see Dave working scripts with a smile on his face
You know he’s wishing he was some other place
Sitting there with his guitar in his hand
Picking out the love sick blues with the band

Commentary:
If forty is wisdom and midlife has hit
then fifty is closer a goal one must set
For if i can make it to sixty one day
shouldnt I be wiser and gray
Only now the strands do appear
and they`re getting more each year
Come gray come white just dont stop commin
cuz thats the day my heart stops runnin
I`ve outlived many who`re still in spirit
and soon I,too, will reach my limit
Now i`ll wait for that very day
when i die and HE heres me pray!!.........classic38

Commentary:
So long ago I knew you
you touched my heart
now I find a gift from GOD
a new beginning a brighter start
all because of you
so long ago we shared
a love that didnt last
but we learned how much we cared
and laugh about our past
we speak as tho we never lost
a lifetime not forgotten
and now we`ve come full circle
while feelings come and grow
our hearts desires explode
with the love from long ago.............classic38
