Poem Number 7551
Curiosities wall

Commentary:
In eyes of gold
I see the smile radiating
a sun eclipsed behind
two moons.
Side by side
twins
on your face.
You intreat me
to the edge of my reason.
You plead your case
demands scattered at my feet
diamonds by any other name
at least in your eyes.
Away to tall grasses
full of mystery and intrigue
and this day
you purr-fully say
"We will be detectives
be off with me now
to uncover the secret
of that most delicious smell!"
Your tail agrees
the rutter of your emotions
speaks a language all it's own,
dances with happy smiles.
"Yes! Come! Play!
Give reason a rest!
Let the wind hold your ever caution
come with me..."
Off we are then
into the fairy wood
that hides
at least one of us
leaving only half of me
for the world to see.
Your wanderings
the leading of me
through blades of emerald
through giant statues not yet realized
only you can understand.
When evening shadows come
you'll yawn and say
"Come then
we've had a full day.
To home, to home
that's where the food is!
So to home we'll go!"
Lead the way home.
A rewinding of the day
smiles to eat with sleep.
Dreams, a banquet full
lay waiting,
the fruit of cuosity,
which doesn't know where you live.
