Poem Number 7514
My sweet dream
Commentary:
Peace.
Rest.
Wisdom.
Kindness.
Patients.
Rest.
The windchimes of my dreams.
Laughter.
Joy.
Small talk.
Sweet talk.
Sweet nothings.
These are the candy of my dreams.
Anger.
Rage.
Impatients.
Bitterness.
Predijust.
These are the monsters that invade my dreams.
Sweet dreams.
Yours.
mine.
theirs.
world dreams.
Dreams of world conquest.
Dreams of nothing more
than to find the one
made especially to the specific details
you
I
us
hide deep inside.
Soul.
Soul mate.
Yin.
Yang.
The balance of my dreams.
Choice.
Impowerment.
motivation.
connection.
A brave and sane new hope.
These are my sweet dreams
the ones I have
for you
for me
for us
for them.
Sweet dreams.
Nice dreams.
Bad dreams.
Immagine dreams
And then...
Fly.
Be free.
Dance.
Laugh.
Be.

rolls my eyes..........

..and the judge whippes their robe to the left and then the right in a sign of disaproval and at that sign, like a great thunder bolt, the person who at least is tring to write something is just suppose to declare to the world..."Oh lordy me I can't write poetry the unknown god of poetry has rolled their eyes."
Give me cooked speghetti so I can whip my back with a few wet strands...would that satisfy your need to keep me from at least trying to write?

PLease Dear Wendy,
As tempting as it sometimes is, let that sad person go answered.
You are contributing with an open heart, striving for truth and beauty. I for one, appreciate that alone.
A sad, troubling aspect of the plane on which we live is that such efforts are often met with hostility. I treat such things as a sort of cosmic test.
Meaning this: I must carrying on perfecting my art, no matter the reaction. You must too.
I hope this came across the right way.
Yr Frnd,
Symon
-------
Thank you again Symon. This time for reminding me of why I do this and all the other art that I do.
Sometimes it's so easy to react instead of just letting things slip on by, things being things that don't matter to who I am or how I choose to create.
I'm greatful for people like you. I have a few of thoes in my life. Without them the road would feel more rocky than it does.
Thank you again.
Wendy
-------
Hi Wendy...
Yes it's SO easy to react...in real life, and here...sometimes I DO allow myself to react; but my criteria for that is: I must think that the negative-comment is actually so lame as to make me at least smirk. Then I can do something amusing , response-wise.
But a lot of these chronic 4rth rate critics and trolls are, in fact, so devoid of insight or humour (I actually can appreciate a FUNNY troll, btw), that it's actually TOO easy to shut them down. So...where's the fun in that? I ask myself. I'm not writing for them anyway. I'm not even writing for the people I feel are my equals here, because the moment I try that, i no longer have anything to say.
I do love the IPP though. There is something about it that inspires my experimentation more than any other poetry website i've ever tried to like. The simplicity, i suppose. Its kind of a crucible in which I boil the raw creative urge down to something finer. It at least gets me thinking in that mode. Damn, forgive that long tangent...glamorous drugs allow me to type a sentence per second (hear that kids? get yr schoolwork right out of the way and make a straight A).

-------
That wasn't a long tangent. It's more like a page from a book that keeps getting bigger because as long as you keep writing the pages keep going, making more and more intricate immages along the way.
I just keep reading and having more landscapes unfold as I do.
Reading what you write is alot like looking at a fractile, you can get lost in how amazing it is, and then look at again and it just keeps taking you to really amazing places.
(not ment to put you on a highrise or anything like that)
So write more so I can learn more.
Wendy
