Poem Number 7512
Twisted in the line of sight
Commentary:
Watchers,
safe from being discovered
hide behind veils
of social graces.
Their eyes full of stones
sticks
malice and hate
twist the lines
bend the chords
until what remains
doesn't look right.
Cockeyed and just to the left
bending heads
with gaping eyes
wear stolen robes
pass judgement
while passing life
with a flick of the wrist.
"We are the gods
we demand worship
money
all you own
your very soul
before we will
speak innocently of you
speak kindly to your face
while plotting your demise.
We are the gods
bow down!"
What wretched stench
drips from their words.
Twisted.
Lost in decay.
Hungry
the lack is deep.
Deep as a well
Dark as a nightmear.
The watchers
never venture into sunlight
for fear of truth.
How they love their words.
It feeds their eyes
nurtures the lies
bleeds the innocent
burns beauty
strangles freedom
and burries life
until there is no breath left.

This was barely here, and someone decited that it should no longer be seen. My query is this: why?
Does it disturb you? And if so why? It's not full of slams or romance, but observation of thoes who wish others harm, and do so from a distance.
So I ask again, why remove it so soon?
