Poem Number 578
Title: Low-Life

Commentary:
Oh your beautiful underwear-
I would be lying
if I said I did not care
To untie your laces
And look at you bare

--That would be heaven to
A little mind like mine

Yes, that would be heaven to
A little mind like mine--

I came from the tender
lands Of lost time
-I was exiled,
Accused of a sex crime

------And yet I suspect
it's because
these words rhyyyyyyme (sometimes)

-To them, that is sex

To me, that is fine-
'cause sex would be heaven
To a little mind like mine

Oh, sex would be heaven
To a little mind like mine
(Verse deux)
So, I wrote a pact
With a man wearing pink
He blew seven smoke rings
& offered me drinks

well
I told 'im I shouldnt
‘cause I couldn’t think

I’s quite drunk already
& right on the brink
(O losin’ control
Of my mind/body link)

But hell may be heaven to
A little mind like mind

The contact is signed,
Jus’ matter of time

Before you’re disrobed
by these hands of mine

(Harm{onica} outro)
