Thanks - I was walking on the beach yesterday and for some reason, this came to me.

Thank you. This is one of the only haiku I've wrote that wasn't just out and out goofy. Like the ones about my friend John Boy. I think I saw him driving down my street today, wearing that blue and white Hawaiian shirt of his and smoking a cigarette. Thing is, he lives two towns over in the next county, so I don't know why he was in my neck of the woods. But it must have been him. I'd know that shirt anywhere.
