Poem Number 3087
What does it mean, Mama?
The babies ask earth's question,
God, we hold our breath.
Commentary:
The neighbor's little girl asked her this on September 11. LJ from ID

Oh! Our dear friend! May God Bless you Big Time and keep you safe!
Big Sis!!You have been missed greatly!--Li'l Sis--May you know love!

Oh, Li'l Sis, your greeting is such a blessing. I miss all of you and think of you often. I'm trying to get back into some semblance of forward progress. We've had death, moving, illness, unexpected travel and I haven't handled it well. 'Fraid I just withdrew. Not a great response, Sis, but there you are. Thank you for your loving response. Lida Jo from Idaho

Big Sis! May God hold you in the hollow of His hand and keep you safe
and warm until you're ready to come into the light--and then just keep
holding you safe.--Love you. Get well-run in God's fields.--Li'l Sis.
May you know love!

I found this in March of 2002, in the comleted poems section. I just found this Haiku home. Reading this was very touching. Good haiku. Honest, bare thoughts of this horror, well spoken.
