Poem Number 1545
child-like laughter
echoing through hallways
of my aging mind
Commentary:
Heedless of warnings,
a grinning child dashes through
rows of cubicles.
~~~~~
You put me in mind of childhood visits to my dad's job at Hewlett-Packard. Those long rows of cubicles, filled with the esoterica of electrical engineering, the ozone mysteries and smell of rosin-core solder.... Now I'm being young about other things, I guess. Thanks for the spark. --eritain
